Specializing in Pediatrics, Dr. Griffieth earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Stanford University in 1972 and his Doctor of Medicine degree at Yale University School of Medicine in 1977. After completing his pediatric residency training at the Albert Einstein-Bronx Municipal Hospital in New York, he moved to California. Dr. Griffieth maintained his private practice in California until his move back to the east coast in 1994 to join Dr. Glasgow.

Dr. Griffieth is also board certified in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics; he is engaged in evaluating and treating children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral problems.

Dr. Griffieth is an attending physician at The Ellis-Bellevue Hospital complex in Schenectady. Dr. Griffieth is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Griffieth is also a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Griffieth has been a part of several church-sponsored missionary teams providing medical services to the rural areas of Mexico. Dr. Griffieth enjoys the outdoors, gardening and loves reading and playing the piano.

Meghan M. is a Registered Nurse who joined our practice in 2008. Meghan previously worked for CapitalCare in Internal Medicine and St. Clare's Hospital in the Emergency Room and later in Maternity and the Newborn Nursery. Meghan became a pediatric nurse because she loves children and wanted to be able to comfort them when they are sick or scared, and she also likes being able to really get to know the families that we see here in the office. Meghan lives in Schenectady with her family and enjoys photography, music, playing with her doggies and Yankees baseball! She is in the office Monday thru Friday (except Wednesday) and may be reached at 518-371-8000 extension 2222.
